To follow with my Baby shower article, this is the outfit I was wearing for Virginie’s baby shower, an handmade skirt and top with a burgundy cotton lace.

I found the fabric at the african shops in Algate and this is the third African lace that I’m buying, it’s a nice and thick lace that makes clothing hold the shape nicely. I wanted an automnal version of the twirling skirt I was wearing at Rocio’s wedding here and also in Thailand, here. 

For the skirt pattern I used the bottom of the Lolita dress from Wear Lemonade and the top Leia also from Wear Lemonade.

Under the skirt and top I’m wearing a nude bodycon, not really sexy but needed for the see through effect.

What do you think about this outfit ? I like that I can wear the skirt again with a black top or the top with jeans for an everyday look.

Je continue sur la série de la baby shower de Virginie avec un article dédié à ma tenue cousue main.

J’ai trouvé cette broderie anglaise dans le quartier du Wax à Londres, c’est le 3^ième tissu de ce type que j’ai et je suis toujours contente du résultat final. Il est assez rigide et donne des vêtements avec un beau tombé. Je voulais une jupe qui tourne, un peu comme une version automnale de la tenue pour le mariage de ma copine Rocio  (ici si vous l’avez ratée) ou ma version bleue en Thailande ici.

J’ai fait une jupe qui tourne à partir du bas de la robe Lolita et une blouse Leia de Wear Lemonade sans le col pierrot qui faisait too much avec la dentelle.

Je porte un body chair sous la blouse et un jupon sous la jupe car je ne voulais pas vraiment la doubler pour ne pas perdre le côté dentelle. Autant vous dire que le côté sexy sous la tenue on oublie !!

Que pensez-vous de cette tenue ? Elle est à la fois printanière et fonctionne aussi à l’automne avec une paire de collant et le côté tournant de la jupe fait toujours son petit effet !
