Flower Power

Hello !

Long time no see as we should say ! My dear computer died few weeks ago from a proscecco accident, we were nicely enjoying our Sunday drinking a glass of proscecco in the kitchen when monsieur dropped his glass over my computer… Dead but fortunately we were able to get it fixed and I can blog again !! yeah !!

Today I’m talking about a dress that I just finished for a giveaway. Louis Antoinette is organising a giveaway with fabric and pattern brands and I’m so excited to participate, I’m not sure I can win but at least I tried and I have now a beautiful dress for my birthday in 2 weeks.

Alma is a easy dress with special sleeves and I wanted to play with it. I’ve been looking at D&G dress with massive flower details for a while. I wanted to give myself a challenge to do a couture dress, this is why I went a bit crazy on the sleeves. I ordered a lot of fabric flowers from Aliexpress to be able to glue them of the sleeves and give this special look to my dress.

I’m so proud of this dress and I didn’t want to take it off when I shoot those photos ! I’m saving it for my birthday in Paris in two weeks ! Can’t wait !

Après une pause de blog je suis de retour ! Jean-Mac a eu un accident de Proscecco qui s’est renversé sur lui, il était mort mais a pu être réparé ce weekend ! Je suis donc soulagée de récupérer toutes mes photos, et j’en profite pour vous faire un petit article sur ma participation au concours hack la mode de Louis Antoinette. C’est mon premier concours et je suis toute excitée à l’idée de participer et surtout de vous montrer ma création. Une robe inspirée par les collections très rouges/fleuries de D&G et un travail de manches assez prononcé. Le patron est facile à faire et est bien expliqué. Comme il fallait le modifier, j’ai monté la taille sur élastique et bien sûr, orné les manches de fleurs.

J’avais cette image d’une robe brodée et fleurie et mon béret rouge pour aller avec la cabine téléphonique du bout de la rue. Je vous explique pas l’immense satisfaction en voyant ces photos et la fierté de porter une robe faite main, qui ressemble exactement à ce que je souhaitais. Je ne voulais plus la quitter mais je la garde précieusement pour mon anniversaire bientôt à Paris.
