Hello !

This is the first look of 2017 ! Today is definitely a typical winter day in London. I love to walk in the park and see the scenary. I’m so happy to get to wear a coat I made two years ago.I found the fabric at Mode & Travaux, my favorite fabric shop for 5 euros.  I love the ombré details on the fabric and I knew exactly what I wanted the coat to look like when I saw it. I wanted a wrap coat with a thick belt and the ombré detail on the bottom of it. We went to Hyde park to walk around and I did some knitting while we enjoyed the view. It was nice to be in central London and take the time to enjoy the city. I realized I never posted photo in front of a telephone box, so here we go, the cliché is on !

My headpiece is from Zara, I found it on sales this summer and it’s a nice little detail to put on my head when I want to feel special. You can find some similar one here. The boots are from Primark. We were walking in the streets when my husband spotted them in the window shop, he said this a nice little boots ! So we went in and I got them, it’s always nice when it’s hudband’s approved. They are very confortable to walk as the heels are thick. It allows me to be a bit taller and also to feel confortable for walking. We are full of good resolutions for 2017 and one of mine is to improve my sewing skills and make as many clothes on my own as I can. No January sales for me, except for fabric, I know I can’t make them all but I want to try to be more sustainable. This is the perfect outfit to match my new year resolution !

Coucou ! 

Premier look de l’année avec en plus une touche de fait main ! Aujourd’hui je vous amène faire une petite ballade à Hyde Park, il fait froid, mais avec quelques rayons de soleil, c’est agréable de marcher dans le parc. Je porte un manteau que j’ai fait il y a deux ans déjà, quand je prenais des cours de couture à Paris. J’avais trouvé le coupon chez Mode & Travaux pour 5euros et j’ai su tout de suite ce que je voulais faire avec ! Un manteau demi saison noué avec le dégradé. Un manteau facile à porter que je pourrais mettre les weekends et relever le col s’il y a du vent. 

Comme je n’ai jamais fait de photos devant une cabine téléphonique je me suis dit que c’était l’occasion ! Elles sont tellement belles, je sourie en passant devant, parce que des fois on oublie vite qu’on est à Londres. Il parait qu’ils veulent les enlever, je trouve ca très dommage, en tout cas j’ai ma photos de touriste ! 

Mes bottes viennent de chez Primark, le magasin des anglaises par excellence, toujours là pour les pièces pas chers et tendances. Elles sont confortables, à la fois hautes et agréables. Les bottines parfaites pour sortir avec monsieur les weekends. Mon serre-tête vient de chez Zara mais j’en ai repéré un similaire sur Forever21 ici.Nous reprenons nos vies en ce mois de Janvier  après les fêtes de fin d’année bien chargées. Nous sommes plein de bonne résolutions et une des miennes et de porter plus de vêtements fait-main et de réduire ceux acheter en magasin ( surtout Primark !). Un challenge couture comme je les aime !
