My neon yellow coat // Mon manteau jaune stabilo

I’m getting in serious winter mode with this cold weather ! But winter doesn’t mean black-grey-brown they are many options you can pick to pimp your winter wardrobe.I selected some colorful items that I’m going to wear often in the next few months. Every year I try to invest in a nice colorful piece so I can build myself a nice closet. Because they are unusual colors, I thought you could be interested in seeing how to style them.

I’m starting this outfit challenge with this neon coat ! I spotted this coat a month ago in House of Fraser and I didn’t buy it, but when Black Friday came and I went to buy sweater for monsieur, I couldn’t resist to have a look at the women section. This special coat was on sale ! 40% off so without even thinking, do I need a yellow coat ? I was at the cashier paying for this beauty. The first day I worn it I could see people looking at me at the tube and I had 2 men talking to me about it, I guess the color is surprising and make you look like a friendly person ! And I know what you’re going to say… How can you wear this color when you are blond ? It’s a no-no ! Well I think it would suit a brunette very well but it’s not as bad as it seems on a blonde girl. To wear neon color you just have to be careful with the outfit, only black or navy would match this coat I think. I might be bold one day and wear it with my electric blue YSL bag ! L’hiver se fait sentir de jour en jour et de plus en plus froid alors je commence à sortir l’artillerie lourde. Mais vu que l’hiver est long en Angleterre, j’essaie de varier les plaisirs et les couleurs, sinon je porterai du noir-marron-gris pendant 6 mois et déjà qu’on vit dans le noir, j’ai besoin d’un peu de couleur pour garder le moral !

J’avais repèré ce manteau jaune stabilo chez House of Fraser, il y a quelque temps. Lors du Black Friday, je suis allée acheter des pulls pour monsieur et en faisant un tour au rayon femme, que vois-je, le manteau fluo à -40% ! Ni une ni deux, je suis repartie avec les pulls et THE manteau. Sans même me poser la question, ai-je vraiment besoin d’un énième manteau ? Enfin bref, me voilà avec un nouveau manteau, qui a eu pas mal de succès dans le métro, deux monsieurs m’ont tapé la causette le premier jour où je l’ai porté.

Du coup il m’a inspiré ce manteau, et je vais vous concocter une petite série de tenue d’hiver punchy pour vaincre la grisaille. Biensûr avec une couleur pareille, on s’abstient de toutes fantaisies, le noir ou le bleu marine seront mes couleurs complémentaires. Pour aller avec, j’ai selectionné les boucles d’oreilles jaune moutarde de ma boutique que vous pouvez retrouver ici. Même si c’est une couleur claire et très printanière, voilà une option pour les porter l’hiver.
