Hello !

Today I want to share with you a very nice event I went with my fiancé : The Art & Elégance show in  the Chantilly Chateau near Paris. We spent the day there, first eating our picnic surrounded by nice cars and drinking rosé champagne. Then we went to see some cars at the car show, we made some flower arrangement it was a free activity with a florist.

There were many cool stuff to do but we didn’t have much time, next year we need to come early. We could try a balloon or eat some « crème chantilly » as whipped cream was invented in the city where the chateau is. There was also a place where people could ride boats on the river, have free make up and hairdo.

I was really excited about the hat ! We had to wear fancy and I decided to customize my hat, so I sewed some flowers and ribbons to make it nicer. I almost got into the hat contest but it was too late when I showed up, it will be for next year 😉

At the end of the day the fiancé was happy to see all the cars he wanted, I was happy to spend a day with him, eat a nice picnic we had prepared and have some great pictures to remember this nice day !

For my outfit I wanted something vintage but not to grandma, so I picked this electric blue jumpsuit from my closet that I have never had the occasion to wear. This was the occasion I was looking for, I like how the pink and blue mix together.

We were so surprised to be feature in the classic driver’s website, where we could see our photo the next day !

Aujourd’hui je veux partager avec vous la super journée que nous avons passée au domaine de Chantilly pour le Art & Elégance. 

Pour la première édition de cet événement nous avons eu la bonne surprise de passer un moment agréable ou monsieur est ravi de voir de belles voitures et madame profite du soleil et à pu mettre mon grand chapeau rose 😉 

Il y avait un dress-code, il fallait s’habiller de façon élégante et les femmes devaient porter un chapeau. Pendant cette journée nous avons fait commencer par un petit picnic au milieu des bolides, ensuite le concours d’élégance en lui même. Il y avait des ateliers organisés par les exposants, nous avons fait de l’art floral avec un fleuriste, une dégustation de crème chantilly par Vatel. Le temps nous a manqué, du coup nous n’avons pas pu faire de tour de montgolfière ou de tour en bateau, mais toutes ces activités étaient comprise dans le prix de l’entrée. 

Nous serons ravis de participer à la prochaine édition, ce fut une réussite, un événement familial très chic qui a comblé monsieur et madame. 

Nous avons eu la surprise d’être en photo sur le site classic driver  le lendemain 😉
